Richard C. Bonsignore, FARA
Founder and President
Richard C. Bonsignore, FARA, Founder and President of Bonsignore Architects, PC, has completed a variety of projects for corporate and financial institutions, property owners and managers and developers. He actively participates in all phases of a project from conception to completion including budget control and project management. His creative solutions to problems are exceeded only by his attention to detail and organization.
Prior to founding Bonsignore Architects, PC, he worked at the offices of Bonsignore, Brignati & Mazzotta, P.C. Architects and Haines, Lundberg and Waehler (HLW International).
Rich earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). During his summer recesses he worked as a laborer for a large general contracting firm in New York City on a variety of commercial projects. After graduating from RISD, he attended evening classes at the Manhattan campus of New York Institute of Technology where he pursued an MBA degree.
He is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board and is registered in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He is a past President of the Society of American Registered Architects, New York Chapter. He also acted as the professional liaison of Building Owners & Managers Association’s Board of Directors, the architectural advisor for their Codes and Regulations Committee and participated in their Membership Committee as well as their advocacy campaigns to Albany and Washington D.C. Additionally, he sat on the Board of Adjustments in his local municipality and currently acts as Chairman of his local Planning Board.
