J. Lindeberg

The established international brand and Swedish apparel company, J. Lindeberg, retained Bonsignore Architects P.C. to assist with designing a new showroom located in the Flatiron District.  A program was implemented to achieve optimal flexibility for the space to serve as an exhibition display of seasonal clothing releases and to engage with the flagship store located in SoHo.

Electrified light boxes, both wall mounted and ceiling suspended, are a central feature throughout the space.  They allow for multiple types of visual media, such as video footage from fashion shows.  The light boxes provide the opportunity for the showroom to be a continuously transformed environment, through the interchange of colors and textures.

Custom-fabricated display racks and translucent glass partitions guide the circulation through the core showroom space.  Concealed behind translucent glass along the perimeter, there is a conference room and an office area with a pantry to serve the merchandizing team.
